Liz has been working with glass since early adulthood and her love of glass includes the colours, the light, and a fondness for the medium that can be changed from hard cold to molten.
Her main inspiration and mentor was her Mum and she is also inspired by the abounding beauty of the local environment on the Tasman Peninsula.
From sand, glass is ancient and one of natures gifts.
Liz works very sustainably using glass and recycled glass and powers her kilns using solar and wind energy.
